Effective date: 1 August 2026
Revieme by Promage ("Revieme", "we", "us" or "our") is operated by Promage Marketing & Media Limited, Nigeria. This standalone policy applies only to Revieme and governs revieme.com, try.revieme.com, the Revieme application, review-request links, trials and related Revieme services.
Revieme has its own products, users, customer-contact workflows and data practices. This policy is the complete privacy notice for those Revieme activities; users do not need to consult another Promage product's privacy policy to understand how Revieme handles personal information.
For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
We act as a data controller for information about applicants, account users, subscribers, billing contacts, website visitors and people who contact support.
When a client gives Revieme its genuine customer contacts so that Revieme can send approved review requests, the client normally decides why those contacts are processed and Revieme processes them on the client's instructions. Each client is responsible for having a lawful basis to provide customer information to Revieme and to contact those customers.
Depending on how you use Revieme, we may process:
Application and business information: name, business name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, business address or service area, Google Business Profile information, customer-volume answers and trial-eligibility responses.
Account information: user name, email, phone number, role, business or location membership, authentication records and account settings.
Customer contact information supplied by a client: names, phone numbers, email addresses, source identifiers, location, eligibility markers, suppression status and review-request history.
Google data: the connected Google identity, OAuth authorization and tokens, Google Contacts names, phone numbers, email addresses, labels and resource identifiers, and—when enabled—Google Business Profile accounts, locations, reviews, reviewer display information, ratings, comments and review destinations.
Review-request and messaging information: templates, approved message content, schedules, channels, attachments, delivery status, provider identifiers, opt-outs, errors, timestamps and review-link clicks.
Billing information: plan, subscription and payment status, amount, transaction reference and, for bank transfers, any payment proof you upload. Card numbers are handled by Paystack and do not pass through or remain on Revieme's servers.
Support information: messages sent to support, troubleshooting information and support-conversation history. If a discovery call is recorded, we ask before recording begins.
Technical information: IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, security and audit logs, cookie identifiers and limited redirect metadata used for reliability, measurement and abuse prevention.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information, card details, passwords, private keys or health information through Revieme.
We receive information:
directly from applicants, clients, users and review-request recipients;
from a client's approved contact import or connected business system;
from Google after an authorized user grants access;
from payment, messaging, email, CRM, hosting and security providers that support the service; and
automatically when someone uses our websites, application or review links.
We use personal information to:
assess eligibility and respond to applications;
create and secure accounts;
provide the trial, paid service and customer support;
import, clean, synchronize and manage approved customer contacts;
create or update Revieme-sourced contacts in a connected Google Contacts account;
connect Google Business Profile locations, retrieve review destinations and synchronize reviews;
send approved review requests and follow-ups, enforce opt-outs and prevent duplicate or inappropriate messages;
process subscriptions, payments, bank-transfer confirmations and account access;
diagnose failures, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain audit records and improve reliability;
comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations; and
send service notices or marketing where permitted, with an unsubscribe or opt-out route.
Depending on the activity, our lawful basis is performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, consent, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in operating and securing Revieme without overriding an individual's rights.
Revieme uses Google OAuth so an authorized business user can connect Google services without giving Revieme the user's Google password.
With the user's permission, Revieme requests the Google Contacts read-and-write permission needed to synchronize customer contacts. When Google Business Profile access is enabled, Revieme also accesses the accounts, locations, reviews and review destination information needed to provide the visible Google review-management features.
Google data is used only to provide or improve visible Revieme features requested by the connected user: contact synchronization, writing approved Revieme-sourced contacts back to Google Contacts, connecting business locations, obtaining review destinations, synchronizing reviews, and supporting review-request and review-response workflows.
OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted server-side secret storage. Revieme stores only the contact, location, review and synchronization information needed to provide the service, maintain suppression and request history, troubleshoot failures and meet legal obligations. Revieme never stores a Google password.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, used to determine creditworthiness, or transferred to data brokers. It is shared only with service providers where necessary to provide or secure a user-facing Revieme feature, with the connected user's consent, or where required by law. Human access is limited to authorized support, security or legal situations and only where permitted.
Google user data is not used to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models. If a future Revieme feature needs to send personal data to an AI provider, Revieme will provide a specific notice and obtain any required authorization before doing so.
Revieme's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
An authorized user may disconnect Google from Revieme or revoke Revieme's access in the Google Account permissions page. We stop new synchronization and delete the OAuth tokens promptly after disconnection. The user may also ask us at [email protected] to delete Google-derived data held by Revieme, subject to information we must retain for legal obligations, security, suppression or dispute resolution.
Revieme is designed for requests to genuine customers after a real transaction or service interaction. We do not permit bought, rented, scraped or unrelated contact lists.
A recipient may use any opt-out instruction included in a message or contact [email protected]. We may retain the minimum information needed to maintain a suppression record and prevent further messages.
Revieme does not require a positive rating before showing a Google review destination and does not permit clients to hide negative reviewers from the ordinary review path.
We may use the following categories of service providers only as needed to operate Revieme:
Google for OAuth, Contacts and Business Profile features;
Promage.io/GoHighLevel for customer relationship management, forms and website delivery;
Cloudflare for DNS, security and network delivery;
Postmark for transactional email;
Paystack for hosted payment processing and subscriptions;
WhatsApp/Meta and the Promage WhatsApp gateway for approved WhatsApp delivery;
Termii or another approved provider when SMS is enabled;
hosting, database, backup, monitoring and security providers; and
professional advisers, regulators or authorities where legally required.
We may also disclose information in connection with a business reorganization, acquisition or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
Some providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and contractual, organizational or technical safeguards appropriate to the information and destination.
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:
applications and ordinary enquiries: up to 12 months after the last meaningful interaction;
discovery-call recordings and full transcripts: up to 90 days; essential relationship summaries: while the relationship is active and up to 12 months afterward;
active-account, synchronized contact, messaging and review data: while the service is active and ordinarily up to 90 days after termination to support export, recovery and dispute handling;
Google OAuth tokens: until the connection is revoked, disconnected or the relevant account is closed;
message attachments and payment proofs: ordinarily up to 90 days after their final operational use or decision;
security, access and audit logs: ordinarily up to 12 months;
suppression records: for as long as reasonably needed to honor the opt-out; and
billing, tax and transaction records: for the period required by applicable law.
Deletion from active systems may take additional time to cycle through encrypted backups. We delete, anonymize or securely isolate information when the applicable period ends, unless a legal claim, investigation or other lawful obligation requires longer retention.
Revieme may use necessary cookies for security, forms, sessions and preferences. Analytics or advertising cookies, if enabled, are subject to the choices and notices required by applicable law. Browser controls can also be used to limit cookies, although necessary features may not work correctly without them.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, server-side secret storage, access controls, tenant and location isolation, rate limits, audit logging, backups and security monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
If you believe information has been exposed or misused, contact [email protected] promptly.
Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, an individual may ask to:
be informed about processing;
access personal information;
correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
delete information;
restrict or object to processing;
withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
receive eligible information in a portable electronic format;
obtain human review of a significant automated decision; or
lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Send requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify identity and authority before acting. A client customer's request may need to be coordinated with the client that supplied the information.
Revieme is a business service for adults. It is not directed to children, and account users must be at least 18. Clients must not intentionally submit children's information for review automation.
We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page. We will provide a prominent notice or direct communication before a material change where required.
